All my life I've been known as the tall, black and Asian girl with big lips, legal name, Dominique Babineaux. I'm 20 years old, from San Antonio, TX, now living in New York City. About a year and a half ago my mom and I packed up everything in my one bedroom apartment I'd been living in since I was 6 months old, and drove 30 hours closer towards my dream. If it's one thing I've known since I was little, it's that I felt a need to be apart of the fashion industry. To be constantly surrounded by a creative bubble of people who genuinely love what they do, would be the ultimate pleasure for me. It's been a super tough journey to get here, and I'm very thankful for meeting my kindred spirit, Nejilka Arias. It's not very often that you meet someone who shares the same passion and drive as you do. She works hard, and I learn a lot from her. So this is our journey together, and our story will be told here for you all to see. No fluff, just us.
