Abby

So from my last post I've been continuously working with Ed Maximus. We work well together and we both have the same aesethic when it comes to clothes and vision. He's very into dark moods and simple minimalistic clothing and that's what I'm most comfortable styling. I don't like to use jewelry and other accessories besides the occasional sunnies, rings, or hat, if I don't have to. I was able to get some pretty amazing peices for the shoot. It was pretty laid back, just a normal test for the model's book. My next post will be of my first shoot with Ed as the model. Much more from Ed and I to come!
Enjoy some final images from the shoot with Abby Hendershot.

Catch My Eye

For me there aren't a huge amount of photographers that catch my eye. Don't get me wrong there is a huge amount of talent out there, especially in New York City, but when a photographer catches my eye it's usually something that sets them apart from the pack. Whether it be their personal aesthetic, editing style, personal shooting style, or their story (background). Ed Maximus was definitely one of those people for me. Originally it wasn't his fashion photography that drew me in. I really love his nude and artistic work. The area on his webside titled "Personal Works" is very intriguing. When a photo is more than one dimention and visually stimulating, it's very exciting. It makes you feel. Ultimately I think every photographer hopes to accomplish this sooner or later, and I believe Ed has it. To top it all off he's a super down to earth nice guy who truly loves what he does. Someone I hope to keep working with in the future.

I was super excited when I finally got the chance to work with Ed on July 3rd. I styled a test shoot for him. The beautiful model was Meghan Wiggins from One Model Management. The amazing team was hairstylist Nigella, @hairbystylistnigella and MUA Angelina, @angelinaangelina on Instagram. The day was relaxed and the conversation was great. Definitely a shoot to remember. Thanks Ed!
Below are a few final images from the shoot.
Enjoy xoxo,

Mystery Femme

It's an amazing feeling when you're able to work with a great team who loves and appreciates the work you do. This was a day of beautiful chaos. Shooting in the middle of the day in New York is always difficult. Tons of people, cars, and constant wardrobe changes was a lot to deal with, but it was well worth it. The story told by Fernando Paz was a woman who's throwing out the old and bringing in the new. She's moved on from a heavy heart and realizes she's strong enough to stand on her own. She's mysterious and ready for a new beginning. Here's my latest styling work for Cihuah, a French fashion brand born in Mexico, by French designer Vanessa Guckel.

Big thanks to everyone who was involved!!
